Issued originally on Jones’ Tragar and Super Sound labels in 1969 and ’70, respectively, both sides showcase 16-year-old Eula Cooper’s tender pipes, climbing octave to octave while a barrage of syrupy strings, woodwinds, and in-the-pocket drumming take care of the rest. Issued in conjunction with Japan’s Disk Union, this pic-sleeve 45 is limited to 500 copies worldwide, and just 100 of those are available at the Numero site only.
